Detox Flow Yoga Workshop
Purifying Mind, Body & Spirit

In this special workshop we will explore how making
conscious and responsible choices- in all aspects of our
lives- can help purify our body and mind; supporting optimal
health and the numerous benefits provided as a result.

We will practice specifically choreographed routines,
focusing on proper alignment and breathing, stimulating the
productivity of the vital organs to create an environment for
toxic release. This creative and challenging yoga sequence
utilizes three internal components for cleansing-abdominal
compression, decompression and twists. These classes will
include Sun Salutations A and B, detox standing sequences,
inverted poses and breathing exercises.
All levels welcome. Note: Studio is not hot

Four Weeks to a BALANCE BODY!
w/ Melissa Griffith

What is a Balance Body?
A Balance Body is strong,   
sexy and sleek. It's attainable
through a commitment to exercise
and a conscious awareness of what you
feed  it as well as your mind.


Throughout these four weeks Melissa will guide you through Balance Studios Creative Core Method along
with guidelines for nourishing your body and soul.  We will move our body in ways unique for most of us
with the intent on strengthening and lengthening the major muscles along with accessory muscles you
didn't even know you had!  Each week we will build on the exercises taught the previous week.
Throughout each class Melissa will offer you guidelines for nourishing your body and ridding it of the toxins,
mental and physical, that may be preventing you from looking and feeling your best.

Who can attend? Anyone who's willing to put in the hard work required to attain a Balance Body. If you
have knee, shoulder, hip or back issues attending this series is not advised.
Why should you attend?  We all need a kick in the butt from time to time in order to get back on track,
shed a few pounds or get motivated to do what you know you should be doing  and this series is just that.

one of the days, no problem you will catch-up the next week.  No refunds given if you cancel less than 48

Join Melissa for a special yoga class designed to Nurture your body, Nourish your soul and Restore your spirit.  
She will guide you through Restorative Yoga Poses and Mindfulness Meditation with the intention of helping you
regain your sense of Balance, mentally as well as physically. If you’re feeling burned-out and/or over-stressed this
Mid-Week Retreat is sure to soothe your nervous system and offer you the opportunity to relax and let-go.  
Please bring your mat and a large towel (to be used as a prop).

Some yoga experience recommended. If you have serious knee, hip or back issues please speak with
Melissa before registering.
Meditation for Beginners will present the most important basic
exercises for mindfulness meditation, also called Vipassana or
Insight.  During each session we will focus upon one of the three
arenas of this type of meditation: Concentration, Mindfulness &
Lovingkindness.  Each Sunday Melissa will offer you a different
meditation to focus upon as well as lead you through gentle yoga
postures to prepare your body to sit in meditation.  At the end of
these sessions you will have a better understanding of Mindfulness
Meditation and a variety of meditation techniques to sustain your
own practice.

The point of these teachings has nothing to do with becoming a
Buddhist, or learning any Eastern ceremonies or rituals or bowing.
What is important is that you learn how to work with meditation so
you may find benefits from it in your life. To meditate is to discover
new possibilities, to awaken the capacity that each of us has to live
more wisely, more lovingly, more compassionately, and more fully.

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move and sit in; bring your
yoga mat, if you have one. A limited number of chairs are available for
those who cannot sit on the floor.
