Class Descriptions
Beginners Hot Yoga: This class consists of a sequence of Yoga postures designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Between each pose we embrace stillness allowing time for the body to assimilate each pose. The first 3/4 of the class consists of standing postures; second 1/4 of class postures are done on the back, belly or seated. If you enjoy heat and love to sweat this class is for you! Class temp. 100-105 Please bring a large towel, yoga mat and big bottle of water with you. You might like to have a change of clothes as we do sweat a lot in this class.

Flow Yoga: Each Flow Yoga class is based around the Sun
Salutations linking a variety of poses that creates a flowing, dynamic and
different class each week. Beginners are encouraged to work at their own
pace. The Hot Flow Yoga class is done in the heat and will challenge you on
all levels. . Please bring a large towel, yoga mat and big bottle of water with
you to Hot Flow Yoga. Warm Flow Yoga class temp averages 85 degrees.
Core Flow Fusion®: Developed by Melissa Griffith, Core Flow
Fitness® is a transformational experience efficiently programmed into a
60-minute class that is sure to leave you with an over-all sense of strength
and well-being. Melissa takes inspiration from The Tracy Anderson Method,
Pilates and many years of study. For those looking to achieve a strong,
athletic, flexible, and youthful body or to improve your performance in sports
with the total body workout try Core Flow Fitness®
Designed to shift your energy and improve overall well-being, Core Flow
Fusion® Yoga: inspires students with a combination of yoga poses that
raise the body's heat and increase cardio endurance, intense core functional
training to strengthen and tone the core, and stretching to move energy and
produce a state of inner calm and balance.
Mixed Level Yoga: If you would like to enjoy yoga without all the
sweating from the studio being warm or hot you'll love Mixed Level Yoga.
This isn't to say that you won't sweat from the workout you receive!
Slow Flow Yoga: Sometimes it's so nice to hang out in a pose and
just see what happens within yourself. We're slowing things down a bit
allowing time to savor the sensations that arise with each pose. Ruthie
brings her knowledge of back care basics along with her experience of
listening to her own body through years of physical suffering (see
testimonials to read her story). Her intention is to offer you a practice where
you may slow down and allow yourself to just be present. Hot Slow Flow
Yoga cranks up the heat in the studio. Average class temp 100.
Beginners Pilates: This is a great class to begin with for anyone
new to Pilates or those looking to attend the Core Flow Fitness® but are new
to exercise or have low back issues.
